Start Your Mushroom Garden: Oyster Mushroom Workshop

Join Benjamin Coffield of the Philadelphia Mycology Club at Martha's Community Farm for an Introduction to Mushroom Cultivation. The program will consist of a lecture teaching the basics of fungiculture, followed by a straw inoculation workshop! Learn about the history of mushroom cultivation, the fungal life cycle and how to grow mushrooms at home. At the end of the program, all participants will make an oyster straw bag to grow at home!
